Love Letters

-To me, this sums up everything we are supposed to strive for, and explains the system we were made to work optimally in...
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments." (Matthew 22:37-40 NIV)
-So that begs the question, what is to love...
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 NIV
-My conclusion: If you only attempt to learn and do one thing in life, let it be to love, as that's the only thing that will change this world.

Love Potion No. 9 AKA The Love Equation

My truth realization for the day. No one can make up for the lack in another. Two halves when multiplied together do not equal a whole…in fact they end up equaling less than what they were apart. But when two wholes multiply together they end up equaling a whole.

More Than Nouns

Sitting here pondering why exactly I care about other people in general so much...and then realized logic points us to what is truly important. Without people this world would mean and be nothing. Money, buildings, status, and most everything we work so hard for would be pointless in a world of trees and animals. Thus the root of the equation of things mattering is people. We should take care of what is important and makes the world go around. What makes this world go round and change, is love for ALL man kind. Love and putting others first is the base of everything good. If we all truly grabbed a hold of this concept and practiced it in it's entirety there would be no evil in this place.
